Description
GEMORO XRF Handheld Analyzer with Desktop Kit – Portable Gold & Precious Metal Testing System for Professional XRF Analysis
The GEMORO XRF Handheld Analyzer with Desktop Kit is a professional Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) system designed for fast, non-destructive analysis of gold, platinum, silver, palladium and other precious-metal alloys.
The handheld analyzer provides the flexibility to test items directly in the field or at a workstation, while the Dock & Barrel Desktop Kit converts the analyzer into a stable benchtop configuration. The docking system securely positions the analyzer and incorporates a transparent protective viewing window for controlled testing of small jewelry pieces, coins and precious-metal components.
The GEMORO XRF uses a 7 mm² silicon drift detector (SDD) and a 40 kV, 200 µA rhodium-anode X-ray tube. It is designed for professional users including jewelers, appraisers, pawnshops, precious-metal buyers and manufacturers.

Desktop Conversion Kit
The Dock & Barrel Desktop Kit allows the handheld analyzer to be securely positioned as a benchtop testing system.
The kit includes a docking station and barrel attachment that positions the analyzer upright. A transparent protective window allows users to observe the sample and test results during measurement.
This configuration is particularly useful for:
Rings
Coins
Small jewelry
Charms
Precious-metal components
Repeated countertop testing
Silicon Drift Detector
The analyzer incorporates a 7 mm² Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) with approximately 170 eV resolution at the Mn K-alpha line.
The SDD provides high-resolution elemental detection for professional precious-metal analysis.
Non-Destructive Testing
XRF analysis allows precious-metal items to be evaluated without destructive sampling.
Users can analyze:
Gold alloys
Platinum alloys
Silver
Palladium
Rhodium
Jewelry
Coins
Watches
Other metal components
Plating Detection
GEMORO XRF analyzers include plating warning/detection capabilities, helping users identify situations where the surface composition may differ from the underlying material.
